Mr. Parker is 6 months old & lots of brotherly love

In the past six months I have felt many emotions, pure joy and love and the first sights of my sweet son. Fear and anxiety at the challenge of taking care of two babies 2 and under. Craziness and stress at the task of becoming a full time working mommy of two. But the emotion that sums up the past amazing six months the best "humbling" I just dont know how I got so lucky to be blessed with these two perfect boys and this amazing little family I call my own. My heart literally bursts at the seams everytime I lay my eyes on these two little mini me's weve created. And day by day step by step were finding our stride in this crazy busy new normal life and I love it. Theres not a night I sit down before 9 pm or a morning that starts any later than 6 am, theres always dishes to do, baths to give, and babies to kiss on, and I love it. After 3 years now of contemplating if I am doing the right thing and questioning my every move I make, I now know I am living my calling. I am not only a great mommy to these two amazing boys, I am providing an awesome life for them all at the same time. I do wish there were more hours in the day and the weekends were longer, but dont we all? I've just learned to make every.single.second with them memorable and count the best it can!

KC or bust, first road trip as four!

We finally made a road trip happen, with some other trips we had planned getting canceled because of sicknesses, and our new floors in our room we made the trip to visit our friends the Strickers in KC! With Dannys job in the past two years they have moved from St Louis city, to Lake st louis, then to despares, and now in KC! I don't know how they do it and stay sane, they are defiantly  professional movers!

Their home in KC couldnt be any more beautiful and neither could their two kiddos. Jim and Leslie tagged along for the trip and it was great to have them and spend some time catching up! 

The boys did GREAT on the way down there, we left around nap time and they both napped about two hours. It was so cute, when Parker woke up in the carseat and saw Will sitting there his face just LITE up. He loves his big brother so much! Daddy had a bit too much fun when we were in KC and we definitely learned a lot about how our travel planning needs to go differently next time. 

On the ride home Parker was so over tired from his fun filled weekend he was having a hard time "letting go" and falling asleep and he cried screamed his sweet butt off for two hours straight. I climbed back and forth between seats and tried everything to help him. We all slept good in our own beds after a long weekend Sunday night!

Saturday us mommies and kids visited a little place (very similar to Grants Farm) while the guys spent the morning golfing. The place was super cute and Will loved it!

Parker, always doing his pics a little late I started this post a few weeks ago.... finally posting it. I'll get it together eventually..... ok two kids and full time job later I may never have it completely together :)


Parker will be 6 months old (gasp!) Wednesday.... 

So I just took his 5 month photos, mommy fail. Life got in the way, but I do have some super cute, fun, memorable moments from Parker's 5th month... and that's whats important right? :)

Were going to get his professional photos done for his 6 month he'll be so stinking cute I cant wait!
